Robert E. Williams, Jr. is professor of political science at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. He is the author (with Dan Caldwell) of Seeking Security in an Insecure World (3rd ed., 2016) and the editor (with Paul Viotti) of Arms Control: History, Theory, and Policy (2012).
